Founded in France in 1947, Mr Dessange's first success was after having hair styled Miss France that same year. Dessange immediately became the most noted hair stylist in France - the one everyone wanted to style their hair. In 1956, Jacques opened his salon in Franklin Roosevelt Avenue,near the Champs Elysee, and soon over two hundred and fifty customers a day were patronizing his salon. Grace Kelly, Brigitte Bardot, Martine Carol were all regulars of the salon and each visit by the stars was a great event.
The tradition of beauty that began in Paris is now offered throughout the world. The Health Club at Dessange in Bahrain is fully equipped, air conditioned and offers state of the art cardiovascular equipment with personal T.V. viewing screens, a wide selection of individual resistance stations complemented by free weights to gain all round health and fitness goals. Our friendly health club staff are always on hand to provide guidance and assistance.
On joining the club you will receive a complete health assessment with one of our professionally trained instructors who will then formulate an initial personal training program to ensure you receive the maximum benefit from your hard work.

Exclusively for women, a separate, newly built laser Section opened within the Dessange premises. Open from 9am to 9pm, the Laser Section is equipped with the most modern laser technology for hair removal from the U.S. which offers safe, comfortable and effective laser treatment for unwanted body hair. The laser machine can treat just about any area of the body where smooth skin is desired … underarms, face, neck, legs, shoulders, the back, etc.

At your initial consultation, the doctor will obtain some information from you on your skin type, hair, sun-tanning and so on, and a test area will be done. Your full treatment will be done approximately one week later, depending on the skin reaction. Most people require 6 - 8 treatments to permanently remove unwanted hair and the total number of treatments required will depend upon your skin color and coarseness of hair. Treatments are usually done one month apart. If you have any questions whatsoever, the doctor will be able to guide you in your expectations or concerns. She will tell you the procedures to be taken prior to and after the treatment.
