WLL is passionate about children’s charities and giving back to the community. In the past, Al Ghalia has often raised money for various charities located in Bahrain and abroad - sometimes privately and sometimes more publicly (such as the Spinathon and the Tsunami fund-raising). Indeed, over the last few years, donating money to those in need has become a very important part of Al Ghalia’s company values, philosophy and culture
The team at Al Ghalia
came up with a unique way of raising money for
(children’s) charities in order to support Bahrain’s orphaned or underprivileged children.
From
November 2006 until March 2007, Al Ghalia
donated one day's revenue from its outlets,
starting with Cafe Lilou, donations of which
were dedicated to the
Mother and Child Welfare Society;
Mezzaluna - Al Sanabel Orphanage;
Monsoon - Alia for Early Intervention;
Dessange
- Child Care Home and Zoë - RIA Institute.

Ghalia WLL and be part of their future children
charity fundraising programmes. All proceeds and
donations will be utilized for the growth of
selected charity organizations and for whatever
developmental programs each have planned for.
